Leadership Circle:

Your Virtual Monthly Workshops for Authentic Leadership

Welcome to Leadership Circles — an intentional space inside our Let’s Get Intentional series where stories become strategy and connection becomes catalyst. Each month, we invite a bold, resonant leader — a “circle leader” — to guide us through narrative, truth, and transformation.

Why join a Leadership Circle?
  •  Live Storytelling & Real‑Talk: Hear from leaders who show up vulnerably and powerfully — their struggles, wins, pivots — and what they’ve learned.
  • Actionable Takeaways: Walk away with tools you can apply immediately to your leadership, no fluff.
  • Intimate & Interactive: Small group vibe. Meaningful conversation. Deep connection with women doing the work.

Finding My Voice Through My Roots

A story of reclaiming identity, igniting voice, and turning lived experience into meaningful change.

Join us for an inspiring Leadership Circle on February 18 at 12 PM EDT for another transformative session led by Simone Wright.

Simone, a Toronto-based Community Image Activist and Cultural Curator, is the founder of Parting The Roots, a grassroots organization dedicated to combating hair discrimination and fostering healing around the complex relationship with Black hair through education, empowerment, and community-building.

Her mission is to expand awareness of the history and politics of Black hair, dispel negative narratives, and normalize all forms of Black hair representation. Simone has been featured on CBC, Toronto Life, and various podcasts, and has led global virtual workshops focused on building self-love and confidence around natural coily hair. In 2023, she launched Messages From Nana™, a deck of Black hair affirmation cards promoting self-love and empowerment. She is a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional and a certified PsychoHairapist™.

In her downtime, Simone enjoys traveling, advocacy work, listening to music, reading, spending time with friends and family, and collecting unique fashion pieces from her travels.
