Dr. Mary Grogan is an educator, consultant, counselor, coach, and author committed to social justice and a humanistic leadership style. She is a curious and continuous learner with a BA in sociology, an M.Ed. in applied psychology(counseling), and a PhD in Educational Leadership.
She has led diverse learning communities in Toronto and abroad and delivered professional development programs locally and internationally in the Caribbean, and Europe.
She developed a peer mediation program for students in the Toronto Catholic School Board and a reflective practice program for medical students in Dominica. As a teacher, counselor, and principal, she has supported many children and immigrant /refugee families to acculturate and heal from the trauma of conflict, abuse, and war. She has taught at faculties of education at U of T, York U, Ross Medical School, and Johns Hopkins. She is a professor at Geroge Brown College and a board member for an Educational NGO in Africa.
Her book, The 7 Cs of Global Leadership, was written to help people tap into their leadership potential to make a difference wherever they stand.
