A story of discovering untapped talents, following intuition, and turning the journey of supporting others into a path of personal growth, purpose, and the courage to build a business of one’s own.
Join us for an inspiring Leadership Circle on May 20 at 12 PM EDT for another transformative session led by Treva Murray.
Treva is the co-owner, with her husband Mike, of Beck Hearing Aid Centre in London.
They purchased the clinic in 2017 and have been working on growing the business and improving their quality of care for 8 years. What started out as a 5-year plan was thwarted by the Covid-19 pandemic, industry challenges, and real life. But in the summer of 2024, after 55 years as a stand-alone clinic, Beck Hearing expanded to a 3-clinic chain.
Treva has been the main operator of the company since 2020 and brings a fresh perspective to an industry that has a long history of doing things a certain way. It’s a history that is reminiscent of her previous career in publishing, where she recognized the need to evolve and push for change.
Hearing loss has been a challenge for Treva since her mid-20s, affecting both her personal and professional life. While it is not the reason she now works in hearing healthcare, it does give her an edge in understanding what clients need, and the challenges they face every day.
A story of reclaiming identity, igniting voice, and turning lived experience into meaningful change.
